Mr. S. K. Shahi – Chairman and Managing Director

Mr. S. K. Shahi (Chairman and Managing Director), is having 28 years of experience in coastal shipping. He is trained in Container Distribution and Anatomy of Shipping from Cambridge University.   He has also done an Executive Management course from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA.  He has served as a Member of the National Shipping Board of India.  He is Director of Indian National Ship Owner's Associations as well as he is a Trustee of Marmagoa Port Trust. He is also a member of Directorate General of Shipping Committee where he engages consultants to study development of coastal shipping and minor ports. He is regularly called in to deliver lectures based on his vast experience by institutes such as CII Conference and Indian Merchant Chamber.

Commodore Medioma Bhada (Retd.) – Independent Director

Commodore Medioma Bhada I N (Retd) aged 66 years, a graduate from the National Defence Academy, masters in defence studies from Madras University and has obtained a certificate in Advanced Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai.  After graduating from the National Defence Academy, he joined Indian Navy as commissioned officer in 1962. He had a distinguished career spanning for 32 years with the Indian Navy. He retired from Navy in the rank of Commodore in the year 1994. He has joined Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in the capacity of General Manager. During his career with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited he was made in charge of management of projects of the company, handled properties and looked after administration of the corporate centre of the company. He is also a Helicopter Pilot.  He is an independent Director on the board of the company. He is also a member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Shareholder/Investor Grievance Committee.

Mr. B. B. Bhawsar – Independent Director

Mr. Bansilal B. Bhawsar, aged 62 years, has graduated (B.Com.) from Marathwada University and completed post graduation from Bombay University with specialization in cost accounting.  He has developed niche in the areas of accounts and cost accounting as he served in accounts and finance department in various companies. He served in senior managerial positions in various companies such as Makune Salmex Limited, Jas One Engg. Devices Limited, Bombay Silk Mills Limited etc. He is an independent Director on the board of the company. He is also a member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Shareholder/Investor Grievance Committee.

Mr. Homiyar Madan – Independent Director

Mr. Homiyar Madan, aged 46 years, is a Chartered Accountant. He is also an MBA from Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.  He has developed niche in the areas of accounts as he served in accounts and finance department in various companies.  He is an additional Director on the board of the company. Mr. B. S. Murdia – Technical Advisor

Mr. B. S. Murdia is in charge of timely repair and maintenance in accordance with maritime regulations to ensure maximum operational efficiency. He has sailed as Chief Engineer with companies such as Eastern Shipping and Barber Ship Management and has experience in ship management of over 20 years with various shipping companies like Indoceanic Shipping Co, Samrat Shipping and IMS Ship Management. He is assisted by 20 qualified personnel, who are trained in Repairs, Welding, Engine overhaul etc.
 

Mr. Pradip Kumar Sarkar – General Manager – Personnel

Mr. Pradip Kumar Sarkar is responsible for controlling entire Administration, Personnel, Human Resource, Training, Seminar and Recruitment. He is a graduate with Diploma in TISS and has Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Electrical. He is a national Football player with Coaching Diploma from National Institute of Sports. He has 22 years of experience in working with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in HRD Department retired as Head (Compensation & Benefits Department).  He is also having a distinguished 18 years defence service with Indian Air Force.

Mr. Leo Gomes – General Manager (Container Operation)

He is in charge of the Container Division of the company.  He looks after the entire spectrum of activities from Marketing to Operations.  He worked with Maersk lines for about 20 years.  Maersk line is a foreign line, moving containers all over the world.  He joined our company in 2005 and is looking after our container movement between JNPT and Mumbai through sea. 

Mr. Sameer Choudhary – Dy. General Manager - Projects

Mr. Sameer Choudhary is responsible for conducting Feasibility studies on short term and long term projects for purchase of ships, Dry dock, Modernization & Up-gradation of facilities, Identifying Business opportunity, Tendering, Liaison with Govt. Bodies etc. He oversees compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards and up-gradation certification. He is Post Graduate in Finance having 11 years of experience of which 8 years in shipping industries.

Ms. Anjali Shahi – Finance Controller

Ms. Anjali Shahi heads the Finance and Accounts department, liaising with banks for fund-raising, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in accounts, bank reconciliation and liaising with internal and statutory auditors. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Management degree with a major in Finance from Singapore Management University. She has 2 years of work experience in Singapore and Jakarta with RedPill Solutions- a consulting and analytics firm recently acquired by IBM.

Mr. S. R. Singh, CA IIBF – Advisor Finance

Mr. S R Singh is a Master in English Literature and is a senior ex Banker. He did his Management from National Institute of Bank Management, Pune. He is also a CA- IIBF from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Mumbai. He has wide experience in Banking and Finance and investment Banking. He has been trained in Finance from Pennsylvania University, Philadelphia, USA. He has also been a VP – Knowledge Management with SBI Funds Management, Mumbai.

Mr. Ghanshyam Choudhary - Head of the Water Division

Mr. Ghanshyam Choudhary is a Master’s degree holder with long experience in shipping, procurement of machinery spares, steel plates and all items of general nature. Earlier he was the head of Liqiud Cargo Division & Purchase division. He is presently heading the Water Division.

Mr. Rupesh Kumar – Head of Purchase Division

He has experience in procurement of machinery spares, steel plates and all items of general nature. With his prompt and diligent service he has been instrumental in keeping the vessels of the Company at optimum operational state. He is presently heading the Purchase Division. He is a Civil Engineer from Pune University.

Mrs. Mamta Jain : Company Secretary & Legal head

She is looking after the Secretarial functions of the Office as well as the legal work. She is a Post Graduate in Commerce.

Mr. Ashish Kumar Sinharay – DGM – Kolkatta Branch Office

Mr. Ashish Kumar Sinharay is heading the Kolkatta Office as DGM Operation. He looks after day to day Operations. He is also responsible for all work related to our 2 Joint Venture Companies formed at Kolkatta ie SKS Waterways Ltd. & Royal Logistics (Ship) Ltd. He is a B.Sc. Graduate in Motor – 1st Class.  He is also a Fellow of Institute of Marine Engineers..Earlier, he worked as a Chief Engineer in Scindia Steam Navigation Co. Ltd. and later with Jindal Waterways and CIWTC. He retired as DGM from M/s Central Inland Water Transport Corporation (CIWTC). In his working tenure, he was also the administrator of NINI (A Navigational Institute of IWAI in Patna)

Mr. Keshav Pednekar – Manager Operation – Goa Branch

Mr. Keshav looks after Operation of our Vessels in Goa. He liaises with Port authorities in Goa for smooth movement of our Barges. He also looks after the Charter of our Barges in Goa with Steel Companies like M/s Sesa Goa. He has wide experience with shipping companies for last 25 years.
